Our primary target audience is 10th – 12th grade HS baseball student athletes looking to take their talents to the next level.

What We Do/Your Playbook

Since 2020, the college baseball landscape has been changing at an increasingly rapid pace. Factors including COVID 19, the transfer portal, program elimination, scholarship allotment changes, roster number restrictions, Name, Image & Likeness (NIL), reduction of MLB affiliate levels and the annual MLB Draft have all contributed to increased levels of uncertainty for potential and current collegiate baseball student athletes.

Home Plate Navigation is your dedicated resource to help bring clarity and guidance in these complex times. Here’s a look at how to get started and what you can expect from us.

The Process and Payoff

  1. Fill out our free questionnaire.
  2. As a potential client, we’ll conduct an initial 15-minute phone conversation with you to help determine a common and logical fit between you and H.P.N. at no cost.
  3. Upon sign-up, we’ll lead a personal, 90-minute, one on one consultation either face-to-face or via an online meeting application (i.e., Zoom).
  4. We’ll conduct an initial player analysis from videos sent from games, practices, showcases, etc.
  5. H.P.N. will provide honest, unbiased feedback on current standing (baseball ability/academically/athletically) as related to college baseball level placement.
  6. You’ll receive an individualized “Playbook,” which will help chart your path and position you to maximize your abilities and unlock opportunities to play collegiate baseball.
  7. You’ll gain access to our resource library of developmental opportunities including:
    • Showcases
    • Camps
    • Training tools
    • Strength & conditioning programs
    • Skill development coaches
    • And more!
  8. You’ll receive support and guidance on how to communicate with colleges. Examples include:
    • Drafting an appropriate email to coaching staffs
    • Putting together and sending a highlight clip
    • Determining the optimal time to contact a coaching staff
    • Understanding at what age you may be contacted
    • And more!
  9. Based upon our full analysis, you’ll receive potential placement support that fully aligns with your abilities and fit, with specific collegiate programs.

Our Pricing

For your convenience, H.P.N. is pleased to offer a variety of programs and additional services to suit your specific needs and budget.

Additional potential costs if requested include:

  • Video profile generation
  • In-person game or workout analysis
  • Development specific program generation (i.e., customized professional strength and conditioning program)
  • Travel exceeding eighty miles round trip
